Pass Plus

Pass Plus is a voluntary scheme which enables newly qualified drivers a chance to experience a wider range of driving conditions and roads including motorway training. The benefits of this are; fewer accidents, safer roads and cheaper car insurance.

The Pass Plus driving lessons are offered once a driving test has been passed. The minimum number of hours required for Pass Plus training is six (in most cases, six hours are sufficient).

After completing Pass Plus there is no further test. However a certificate is issued to show that you have completed the training to the required standard. It is possible to save more than the cost of the Pass Plus training on your first year’s insurance.
