The DSA national average pass rate is about 42% and for those
who pass 1st time the figure is less than 42%.
My overall pass rate currently stands at 77%.
68% of my pupils pass on their first test
25% take 2 tests before they pass
8% take 3 tests before they pass.

Since becoming a Driving Instructor I have worked very hard to
continually improve my standards. My philosophy is that a pupil
should not take driving lessons in order to pass their driving test,
but instead to become a safe driver. Remember that after you pass
your driving test there will be nobody next to you with dual controls.
According to the DSA.... "If you're not getting right all
the time without your instructors help then you're
not ready to take your test."
