Cheap Driving Lessons Newbury
Taking driving lessons isn’t cheap. The price of lessons varies throughout the country. In Newbury the average price is about £27 per hour. How many hours you take all depends on the individual pupil. To pass quickly you need;
- Good natural ability
- Confidence i.e. not being too scared of driving
- A lot of hard work.
Having all 3 requirements is a rarity. If you possess all 3 then you will progress quickly. Most pupils possess 2 out of 3 which is fine. What we need then to do is work hard on the missing link to make good progress. You may find that instructors who offer cheap driving lessons may not always be the best value for money.
Since becoming a Driving Instructor I have worked very hard to continually improve my standards. I run my driving school in the same way. My philosophy is that a pupil should not take driving lessons in order to pass their driving test, but instead to become a safe driver. Remember that after you pass your driving test there will be nobody next to you with dual controls. I maintain high standards and we work with the pupils best interests at heart. We believe that we are teaching you to become a safe and competent driver, not simply to pass a driving test.
According to the DSA…. “If you’re not getting right all the time without your instructors help then you’re not ready to take your test.”
